I thought that may have been a turbo between the filter and the manifold, I guess that's just the MAF. Why put the intercooler on before the supercharger?

So i plasti dipped the last of my chrome yesterday, aside from the wheels.

Couple questions though, how would i go about removing my tailgate decals? I suppose i could just peel em off but i thought i'd might as well ask if there's a better way. Another thing is I noticed that other 2001 Tacomas don't have the same tailgate badging as i do, they have the other better looking chrome coloured badges, is it part of the SR5?

I guess plasti dipping a decal wouldn't work eh? After doing my side badges i find myself itching to find something else to derp. :goingcrazy:

No lol-ing allowed. It matches and looks cool. :D

Alright none of you are going to believe this...but I restored my headlights!

And guess what? IT DID NOTHING. :bananadead: It got a little of the yellowing off but they're still foggy. Waste of time lol. So I went and ordered new headlights from rock auto lol. :p

I also got new windsheild wipers and replaced a burnt out bulb in my third brake light.

Yeah I like it with it on but I think I'm going to leave it off. Looks a little naked, but much cleaner imo.

Haha yeah that's not the first time I've gotten that... Are your tires 33x10.50? I found a set on craigslist that I was looking at but I was kinda wanting 12.50's

Pulled all the panels, seats, carpet. Previous Owner was a construction company that love to smoke. Currently, spraying the rugs with pet cleaner. Also ordered some 'mass loaded vinyl [mlv]' off Amazon. going to lay it down under the carpet with some of that foil damper.

If anyone needs pictures of a panel / what's behind it / or help removing it - message me. I might throw together a youtube video. Couldn't find any for the Tacoma extended cab with my center console.

I'm really struggling to find out where to buy door and window weather stripping along with a quarter window latch. Some punk tried to break into my truck's quarter panel and snapped off the latch and ripped a bunch of holes in the weather stripping.

I JUST saw a thread recently regarding these. Someone was making them and selling them. They were metal and is what you were looking for. Sorry I don't have a link, but I know it's on TW somewhere.

Might have to check it out. I just spent $60 on some headlights since everyone keeps making fun of me lol.

I don't view it as a hybrid emblem, just an emblem with a blue background lol

Wow, what turbo are you running on that? I've always wanted to throw a T3/T4 at a 5vz... Any concerns about blocking all of your radiator?

In other news, here's a rundown of the maintenance I got done this week:

    Brake fluid flushed
    Power steering fluid flushed
    Oil changed
    Air filter changed
Alignment re-done (actually turned out in spec this time!)
