My OME leafs finally came in, and I am looking online for a good DIY thread. I haven't been able to find any good ones online, am I missing something? I am sure one exists.

Lastly, I am looking at my new Dakar pack and I see new bushings pressed into one side of the spring, but the other side is open. Do I need to buy Toyota bushings?

I would hate to get started and have no quit half way if I need new bushings.

My springs look identical to the ones in post #4 on the link below. At my parents house to do the install and I have no idea how to copy pictures over on their damn Mac.

Yes you need bushings , you can use Toyota ones

There is a sticky in the suspension section entitled bjMoose installs OME kit , check that one out

Thanks OZ. I had read that already but missed the bushing part. Off to Toyota I go.

Are you going to add centre pin collars in case you need to run axle shims later ?

    In need of $$$
+1.. I would add in the collars. You never know if you are gonna need the shims. I just put them on right from the start.
