Well, 2 weeks ago we made another expedition to the Estoraz River, but this trip was different and my "stock" (remember I don't have a lift) went to the "modified" route...

Everything was great except for some minor scratches...

Great post and photos... Most of my four wheeling is also done in Mexico: Baja California!

With all the water crossings you do, please perform the rear differential breather mod if you have not already done so... Check your rear diff. oil for water contamination.

I am surprised to see your 4x4 mud flaps are still attached to your truck! Any four wheeling over rocks usually snaps them off!

    Muchas Gracias!!

Great photos, that is a beautiful place.

It's great to see a Tacoma getting dirty and scratched up the way it was meant to be!

    Thanks for sharing the photos

Thank you very much! Yeah, I said the same thing: OUCH!!!! Haha

Thank you!! I wanna go to Baja California for some offroading!

I already performed the rear diff & transfer breather mod! Next week I want to do the transmission breather, aswell...

About the mudflaps, I always snap them off, but I always try to put them back!! I like the looks and they protect from small rocks...

Thanks! I love all the different places I have had the opportunity to visit!! Next year hopefully I'll go to many others! I'll keep posting all the photos!

A little update, as we all know at night is a PITA trying to find something that is in the cupholders or nearby. That's why I installed 3 LEDS connected to the A/C lights.

Last weekend I went on a trip through the "Sierra Gorda" in Querétaro, México...

    My favorite pics:

And this is special, as you can see, there is a hole in the mountain, it is called "El sótano del barro" (Mud basement) the second larges sinkhole in the whole world... It is a 2:30 hour walk, you walk more than 7km uphill and height difference is of 800meters... totally worth it.

Thanks! I actually love my country because we have many different places to visit... Each one with it own special magic! What I'm trying to do is to travel at least once every two months to a new place!

My next stop is: "La huasteca" a very interesting place!

Well, after 4 months of asking... finally I got my Rear Leaf + A/C chirp TSB done...

You may ask why so much time, the problem is that the TSB's in the US are not the same in Mexico. Actually, there is no TSB out for any Tacoma in Mexico, therefore I had to prove them all that was wrong and the dealer had to call to the corporate, then ask a permition from US, etc... a loooong story, but well worth it!!!

Actually, they changed me the (already leaking) Billstein shocks that come with the TRD Sport for new (don't know which brand) shocks... they look stronger...

Here are the crappy phone pics:

Your truck didn't have the Tsb springs already, because all the tacomas from Mexico that I have seen at my work have them. Also you can always get the warranty work done in the us as long as your still under warranty from Mexico 3 years or 60k km.

Hey man, I really can't tell... This leaf pack look really similar to the others... I took the truck to the dealer because the first time I put 400kg (at most) the truck drove awefully and all the time it was hitting the bumpstops...

The next day I noticed a weird sound on the back everytime I went through an uneven surface...

I saw the leaf spring were flat... And one of the shocks was leaking... Saw the TSB and thought this was the problem... Took it to the dealer with the problem and the TSB documentation, after 3 days they ordered the parts and 2 months later the parts arrived... (Shocks & leaf pack)
