nice. before i know it i’ll be doing my 60k service. going to do it all my self. usually just take it to the dealer. it’s close to the house and they do a good job.

 

Yeah, it wasnt hard at all.

 

ya. i looked and everything for the 60k look easy. may take a few hours but i’ll save prob like $200 to $300+ doing it my self. I have all the tool i need.

also, maybe getting a better job soon. so hope i can lift soon, if i do i’ll do it my self as well may get my buddy to help. I have jack stands and all the tools i would need to do it. I think it would be cool and fun to do and say i did it. and really just don’t want to pay someone.

 

I heard that buddy, just reset that damn maintenance required light, annoyed the hell out of me for the 2 hours that it was on... luckily a mod had a DIY reset, took all of 10 secs

Suspension
-OME All around with Expo leafs in the back

Tires
-265/75/16 or 255/85/16 (BFG AT's) My old tires

Camping
-LEER Cap colormatched with a thule/yakima rack
-CVT RTT(4 man tent just in case) to mount on said cap
-First aid kit w/ a 3 day bug-out bag(in progress)

Communications
-CB radio(type not sure of)

Protection+Practicality
-ARB deluxe bull bar
-Some form of rear bumper w/tire carrier/with gas/water cans.

This is obviously a long term mod list but this is what i think i'll be most satisfied with. With some managing of my money and when i get my proprieties lined up properly(i'll buy a commuter car before all this.)

So, If anyone has any of this laying around they want to sell to me, i'll be more than welcome to shoot ya an offer back.

Cool man. I want some 255/85/16s also.

 

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think BFG A/T's come in 255/85/16. The Cooper S/T Maxx is coming out in this size in the fall though.

ReallY? damn. Whats the reputation on the Coopers?

 

I've seen some guys on here that run them in 265/75/16 and 285/75/16, and from what I've read, they are good tires. They are more of a M/T though, just to let you know in case you're looking for more of an A/T.

This guy's build which you commented on has 255/85/16 Cooper Discoverer S/T, which is a more A/T option that Cooper offers. I'm not sure if they will continue this model in the 255 size once they release the S/T Maxx though.

Yeah, the only thing that i'd need is some good A/T's for my particular uses.

^^ he graduated basic. but he still has 6 weeks of infantryman training. then he is done.

He was texing me today and last sat. they let them have there phones and stuff. I know he got to see family like today or something he got like a 35h pass to be normal person.
