Seriously thought, I want to go back soooo bad! If it was any closer I would be there multiple times a year.

I really like the top of the world pics! I'd like to go to Moab next year but with small budget and lack of vacation time from new job leaves me on the outside looking in

Yeah it definitely wasn't a cheap trip with a lot of travel time. Honestly, it was so worth it though. It was an awesome "sole searching" trip. I was able to get away from all the day to day shit. Although it sucked paying for all the gas by myself, I am glad I went alone. I was able to do what I wanted the whole time without someone in my ear.

Thanks! Yeah it is an incredible place, you have to come next year for Rock Therapy. I know I will be going back!

Thanks! There is so much more to be done, but I need to get my priorities in check or I will be stuck living at home...forever. Everytime I start to get a good little chunk saved up I go ahead and upgrade something on my truck instead.

No Issues. I really like it. I used to pull out some piers at my parents lake house. I ran it a decent amount and it never got hot.

One time it didn't work and it was because two of the leads came loose. I thought it was only one so I tightened it up and it still didn't work I was so pissed. Then when I got home and pulled the rubber covers off I realized another one was super loose. Once I tightened that up it worked perfectly.

My advice: Definitely buy a warn. If you got the cash by the next step up or if you wheel a lot (>10 times a year). I go about 5-6 times a year and I think I bought the appropriate winch for my needs. I have used 4 times so far and it hasn't been a year yet.

Which one would upgrade to if you had the cash?

Did you get a bigger battery to run your winch?

I run the Warn 9.5xp-s. Its a bad mofo, fast as hell and strong but has a big appetite. I'd say it's about he baddest winch you can fit on one of these trucks. I have not been around one of the new Zeons but they sure look impressive too.

I would upgrade to the one Socalduckslayer recommends for sure.

My truck has the factory towing package so I know that comes with a bigger alternator & better battery so that will do for now. Eventually I will be running a dual battery setup, but those days are still pretty far off for now.

Edit: Just saw that last post. Yeah go sythetic 1) Safer 2) it is lighter 3) it is cooler 4) Hawse fairleads much better looking than a roller lead.

Yes that top part comes off the Zeon.
