Afe intake/ exhaust???

I have a 2013 4.0 Tacoma. I have been looking at cold air intakes and an exhaust set up. A buddy suggested aFe and I don't know much about it so if any one can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

 

I have the AFE Pro Dry S filter (dry filter good so you dont build up residue on the air temp sensor) system with the filter in the box. I installed it in May, 2007 and have driven 160,000 miles with out any issues other then replace the silicone couplers due to drying out (this is expected).

For exhaust I'm running the TRD so I couldn't comment on that. Maybe others will chime in for you.

 

i have the afe exhaust. Great price, easy install and sounds great not obnoxious. I have the Airraid Intake and love it.

 

I just bought both of these for my truck today I also have a 2013 and I only had time to install the intake. And I do really like the intake it is really throaty at the higher RPMs but not to loud just cruising around. When I install the exhaust tomorrow I will let you know if I like it. I had a K&N intake on my last vehicle and I liked it as well but a local shop where I live said they were not really designed well and a lot of customers were getting weird engine codes from them.

I bought it from SDHQoffroad.com however they are local for me so I went and picked it up.

 

Oh nice I just ordered from auto anything wasn't sure on the site read good and bad reviews. Ordered last night. I hope the exhaust is for the truck lol already got it on order.

you should make a vid if you ever have time.im thinking of getting and afe exhaust to but i would have to ship it to hawaii. local dealers only have the banks monster?know anything about that?

Did u have any problems installing it to your 2013 ?DC sport

 

Not at all I didnt do the install on my truck but I did the same one on my neighbors and it wasnt bad just time consuming since we didnt have a lift to get the truck in the air. It went right in factory mounts and everything.

 

Also have AFE exhaust. Nice fit, great quality, and nice sound. I am not a fan of V6 exhaust tone but the AFE is mellow and adds just enough sound for my liking. For the price I think it's the best out for our trucks. I did a lot of research. Also I did notice better throttle response and acceleration. Maybe gained 5-8hp.

 

What was the part number? And were did u order it from . My local dealer (IMM) only have banks in stock
