2011 JBL MP3 Radio

I am replacing the radio in my truck with the entunes and have this JBL MP3/Radio for sale. I'll do 75$ shipped?

 

Would you happen to know if this will bolt/connect directly to the standard mp3/multi disc head plugs? I have the 6 disc mp3 in my truck, just not JBL and may buy it if it requires no/little mods. Thanks!

 

I cannot say for certain. I know my jbl sends the signal out to an amp. Your non jbl sends it direcly to the speakers. It may be possible that the plug I have labeled on mine with a "?) is speaker output, since I didn't have anything using that plug on my truck, it was empty. You will have to do more research. If we were closer we could test the theory.

It appears that the head can be installed and will just function as a non-jbl unit. Unless the additional harnesses, amp, and speakers are added later. Which may not be very cost effective, lol. Let me look around a bit more and I may still get it from you.

Just to clarify, jbl radios don't fit non jbl trucks...needs the amps and all the harnesses. Sorry fellas.
Will fit on a 05-08 jbl tho, and looks better too

Certain cars have other features (like Lexus n stuff) on the tacomas you plug a USA spec module for your iPhone/iPod and can play music off your phone and charges it

I have a 2011 an dmy radio is going up. Turns on and off when it wants. I don't think Mine is a JBL. But will this still work.

 

sorry to thread jack but mine looks exactly the same minus the the little JBL tag, so is mine non-jbl, i have the aux plug down below next to the cig lighter and it does mp3's and sucj it just doesnt have that little tag,mine says compact disc on it.

Still wanna sell that jbl unit? I'm in....just bought a tacoma (with the JBL system) and the guy that owned it before me basically ruined the cover on his head unit. I'd like to be able to play the mp3s and possibly add an xm antenna. You selling it with the hazard and clock? Thanks for your time.
