I had my old sub sitting in a top tray in my 300zx unsecured. When I fell asleep behind the wheel and hit a tree the sub flew into the windshield and landed in the passenger seat. I was lucky it didn't fuck me up hard core and all I had from it was a grazing wound on my right arm as it flew forward. There were two corner marks in the windshield from it.

Clean. I store tools in those boxes though since I lack a garage right now. You guys have such empty back seats and mine is always filled with shit.

    Bone stock. For now.
Last night I took out my single 12" Alpine Type S, put it in my girlfriend's '06 4Runner, then put in the XCab box from hifisoundconnection.com with two 12" Alpine Type E's.

I used an Audio Control LCi2 line output converter (she wanted to keep her factory head unit), and ran the signal to an MTX Thunder 500.1.

Now her 4Runner hits way harder than my Taco, and I just added another twelve! Damn SUV's...

That is the type I put in, I want to say 99 or 00. All the power "sources" were at the dome light. Constant and switched from the doors. I just had to fish a few wires from the dome to the mirror location. I forget the details, it was 13 years ago.

I made my 12v plugs below the center dash a constant power source by adding this jumper wire:

    IMG_2056_zpsbb6337ab_54b60c82a61526fca39fb09b22ea5248a893f9dd.jpg

It plugs into your Power Outlet portion of your fuse box. The last 2 slots. Should then enable your cigarette lighter plugs to be constantly powered...
