Alex, I picked up one of those BirdDawg mirror relocation kits with the ball. Got a sweet deal for pulling my mirror apart and taking pictures. Will I need to get those machine screws for the base plate or were they included?

And I had to go to ACE to buy some screws. 1/4" 10-32 machine screws. Cost me $0.85

Hello - I'm new to this forum, although I've been a dedicated Tacoma owner since 1997. I recently bought a brand new Baja Edition, and I came across this forum when I was researching reviews/videos on the Internet. Here's a picture of it at the dealership the day I brought 'er home. In the first one you can see the right front of my '08 TRD Sport in the right-hand corner of the picture. [IMG] I'll have more pictures after I go to the Cape this weekend.

I'm really glad to see that there is a regional forum. If anyone knows of some good off-road sites in Southeastern Mass I'd love to get some locations.

Welcome to the game. Truck looks nice. Some of the guys will post up wheeling days or trips but most wont just put up a location on a public forum. All are welcome on the wheeling days. I am on my phone otherwise I would post a link but check the regional for offroad plans

Welcome and congrats on a nice looking truck you've got there. For wheeling trips we have another regional thread on here. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/north-east/258758-ne-area-wheeling-trip-plans.html

    Edit; Opps. Beat to it.

Welcome. The normal location of stock friendly wheeling is on the RI/CT border. For wheeling by the south shore check our South Shore Wheelers.

Thanks to you and BostonBilly for the trip plan link and welcome. I'm heading there shortly!

Thanks Sloth for your welcome too!

BostonBilly - I see you live in Easton. I grew up in East Mansfield. If you've been there a while you might remember off-roading off of Red Mill Rd. and in the various pits in Mansfield and Norton. I wish those places were all still accessible now....

Yep.... My diff is leaking. I hope it's just in need of a new crush gasket, but the skid plate it has is smushed up against my diff. That odd hanging weight that comes off the diff is effed. Exhaust crunched. I need skid plates badly!

Also, this POS was hanging down on the cross member. Should be over the drivers side cat, but who cares? Out it came!
