Having a vehicle freshman year on campus isn't that bad anymore, you use to have to park a few miles off campus but now you are allowed to park up near the baseball stadium.

Yeah yeah.... Well I'll be honest, that is probably my favorite field aside from Flemming Stadium in Wilson. Ya know I think Campbell spent more in surgeries for me than my tuition for 4 years cost me lol. I think I came out on top. Funny how that worked hahaha!

Hey so yesterday I bought my wife a car and while I was there I saw a 4 banger lifted with 285s and DC1s. I was able to straight up trade the dealer my plastidiped TRD Sport wheels with Cooper AT3 265/70R17s for the DC1s with Nitto TG 285/70R17s. I will take a pic later! Man what a difference in ride height and feeling when driving down the road. It's ao much more stable lol.

Yes sir! Now I did have about 20k on those coopers, and they were wearing funny, and unfortunately these nittos probably have Lincoln's scalp left as far as tres depth, so these will need replacing soon, but the ride is great, and stability is amazing. I would highly recommend wheel spacers or wider wheels for these trucks. The "tipping" sensation goes away.

I had to remove my mudflaps before they decided to remove themselves.

Also, in the first pic, that's down in Wilmington at a site I'm working at.. We had probably gotten around 2" of rain at that point and I had zero problems with those Cooper AT3s on the site. Only spinned once in 2wd... In 4, didn't have a problem.

I also decided to go down a powerline trail with about 2 feet of water at some points and had no problems there either. However, I will say that I had no doubt it would have gotten stuck in the Green Swamp where I used to take my F150 - that one had trouble with 35x1250 STTs and a winch... so I didn't think I'd risk it without the winch installed and only 265s... Maybe once I replace these with some newer shoes and get that winch up under there.

I wonder how well my prerunner would handle some mud with BFG mud terrain tires or even ft.fisher park. Anyone go out there regularly, might need a pull buddy if I try it with street tires

    A safe assumption, nothing like a 4x4.

He's right. Me and a buddy took his 2wd b3000 regular cab out there with 31x10.50r15 Goodyear authority ATs. We aired down and barely made it past the entrance. A CB Police officer helped me push him off the beach. We were very grateful for his help. Also, I believe that it's illegal to take a 2wd out there now.

I will say this too - my old f150 with 35x1250 STTs struggled the last few times making it through portions. Last year on cinco de mayo I pulled out probably 5 people lol. My tacoma I only took out once with the 3" lift and my 265/70r17s. It handled it okay, but it sure wasn't my f150. This is where you can really see why it's worthless to go 6" with these tacos. You need clearance on the axles and on the crossmembers, otherwise you'll be pushing sand. Put some 285 MTs on there with a 3" lift, air down to around 12 or 15 psi and grab a buddy with a winch and see what happens. Keep in mind tho, they get really pissy with 2wds that out there. I did used to take an expedition out there that was 4x4 but the vacuum valve didn't seal right so no 4wd lol. I always had to air down to around 12 and just gun it trough the entrance.
