For consideration of other drivers on the road, you really should remove the PNP HID bulbs from the stock housing. HID bulbs are meant to be installed in projector housings with a proper cutoff. Without this, the beam is being diffused improperly and effectively blinding everyone else.....just some $.02 for ya.... Again, this is only if you care that other drivers can see. This website is a great resource for info regarding this topic and others. Props for giving it a go.

On a diff note...your truck looks great. Super clean rig.

Taken approximately the same time of day in the exact same position before/after the 20% tint was put on to match the rear factory tint. Here are the photos:

Okay maybe it's not fair since I washed the truck for the after shots, but you get the idea :)

Looks good! Thats what I did on mine. 30% fronts and 15% rears. I think it's perfect

No... 15% is darker than 30. My fronts are 30 because I didn't want them as dark as the backs.

Changed front diff oil and reinstalled my freshly painted skid plate. The front diff drain plug had what appeared to be dark grey coloured grease on it with a few small chunks of metal too. The oil looked quite grey too actually.

Oh gotcha, I figured it was a typo, whoops :p
Got any pics of the color difference of your dark rears and lighter fronts?
I was hung up on not wanting 35% up front because I feared it would be way too light from the windshield light & lesser tint that the rears

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
That's where I screwed up on mine...I failed to factor the factory tint on the back windows. I wanted them all the same shade so should have gone darker o the fronts. Oops. Still turned out awesome but if I could do it again...

I like mine the way it is. First one makes the rear look a little darker than they are... 2nd one is a good comparison.

I can see how that could be overlooked + the amount of light the windshield lets in is easy to oversee. As long as it looks good, that's all that matters!

That 1st is not as light in the front as I was imagining but in the 2nd pic you can see the brightness difference, looks good overall!

All the new tint looks awesome! SeattleCoug... Did you tint your windshield? I can't tell if its tinted or if its just darker in the cab, making it look tinted. Either way good job! I had mine done a couple months ago (5% rears, 20% front). I love it now, especially here in the heat bowl called Texas.
