Lifted Regular Cab Picture Thread!

6" lift on 18s with 35s

 

Hoping it's been regeared or better yet, v6 swap.....so it can get out of it's own way. That's a lot of lift and tires for the 4 cyl. Looks good but betting it's sad mpg.

 

Can you guys help identify this spacer?

I photographed this on a dealer lot this morning and am curious what brand it is.

Hmmm,

It was installed on a RC they had on the used lot, seemed to level the truck out real good.

Maybe Hell Bent Steel?

I'd agree a majority of the time, but someone may want a spacer for an easier install if they plan on never going offroad.

 

I go off road with my spacers!!!!

 

Yeah I'm not defending spacers...I like my 5100s!

 

For what I do, It's really all I think I need,

The more I read the more I just want the 5100s.

The deal with trading it in has no money value involved though, I don't want to mess with trying to rig buckets into my RC,

My payment would go down very very slightly because I now qualify for a better interest rate. And they are willing to give me a good deal so to peak on my trade in,

My G/F and I think I should keep my bench seat RC for another year but I am not sure, but knowing I need to get tires and I want a more aggressive type tire, I keep reading I am going to need to lift the front a tad or "level" it to still use factory muds and clear my tires. I could be wrong here,

Just make ur bench seat recline a little more. I just done it and it made a world of difference! Took 20 min. And buy a center console thingie

 

I have a clutter catcher, works great for me....

But at 6'4" I need the seat back as far as it will go, I have thought about just adding a spacer under the front mount tabs.

I even have the plastic trim removed right under the sliding rear window also, otherwise the seat back rubs and makes noise, lol...

I am going to really take a look at the 2014s, The buckets are a lot more comfortable for me than the bench but please don't get me wrong. I am not complaining, I love my little truck, I really hope Toyota helps and I am able to get this transmission figured out, I am commuting more for work now and have to listen to it at least once a week....

 

I just wish they offered buckets with manual trans...

 

lol, well I am 6'4" and maybe 215,

I try and stay fit, My old 85 was an SR5 model and it was small but had that extra 8-10" behind the seats, my 93 was a RC 4x4 also and it was a tad smaller. I was smaller after high school though anyway.

I am not cramped at all and have driven to PA multiple times and have no issues with comfort, I found with the buckets you recline the seat where it feels real good than like in an S2000 you push a little and get the seat back crammed into the back of the cab, once you get that click, your golden....
I actually have more room with the buckets than with the bench.

I just want those bucket seats, lol....

 

Oh and I don't own an S2K,

We had to drive them from time to time at the dealer and it was bearable but I COULD NOT have one myself....

 

I've been reading a lot about lifting my truck and started reading about people getting vibes. Does it matter which trans you have? I thought I read that it was mostly the 5 speed guys that were getting them.

Also, what are my options for getting 2" in the front? I'm thinking about getting the fox 2.0s but I'm also looking for other options. What would 884s get me? I always see heights listed for double cabs but rarely see any info for regular cabs.

 

Buckets are not overrated. I am 6' and have same leg room and reclining position as I did in the 05 AC. If I was 6'4" I would be in an AC or DC tho.

 

Ive got an 08 SR5 RC with buckets and a 5 speed manual and I love it. I think they only did that setup from 05 to 08.

I'm about to order a set of 5100s, the only dilemma is do I set them at .85 and leave the rear leaf the way it is, or set the 5100s to 1.75 and throw in an AAL?

 

I have same truck. I went with 5100s set at 1.75 with no AAL and have 1.25" of rake higher in back with 3 leaf pack. Caster is still tolerable but I still want UCAs to get more caster/camber adjustability.
