I hate you. I really want to make this run. My wife and I tried to find a back way to the Coke Ovens. We could see them up on the hill and we crossed rail-road tracks and ended up in a wash. I could not find a trail out of the wash big enough for my truck that would take us up into the Coke Ovens. I am assuming you are going throgh Box Canyon? Will you go by Martinez mine on the way to the coke ovens?

I promised some people from work I would take them on the Harquahala Mountain Trail on Saturday. If you go Sunday you can count me in and I probably will be by myself so I will have a seat for however needs one. I vote for Sunday.

If you are asking about the Harquahala trail see the below link that you posted to this week.
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/arizona/286909-anyone-wanna-mob-queen-creek.html

If you are asking about the back way to the coke ovens you take 79 South, Left on East Florance-Kelvin HWY, Left on N Cochran Rd, stay on this road and you will cross the rail-road tracks and end up in the wash. About 1/4 before the tracks is a open area that you can see the the Coke Ovens.

Hey AZers... I'm in Florence with the truck this weekend... Do you need a permit for coke ovens?
