Check my build thread...too much to list.
Unless you're honestly in a rush to get a plate bumper I'd just sit on the cash. We are coming up towards the end of the year and there tends to be several sales that come up. That way you can continue to look into the exact bumper you want and get it at a discount. There is the 2nd gen bumper thread: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/164975-bumpers-2nd-gens-only.html

That could also give you an idea on other bumpers. The only thing I'd recommend pulling the trigger now is if you want a completed Relentless bumper due to the wait time. Like Eric stated he does have a TW discount. Good luck with your decision!

Hated the wait - but love my Relentless bumper.

I am in no rush, so I am going to sit and wait for a sale to make it the best deal I can get.

I love that, that is exactly what I want on mine. Jealous!

My buddy is very good, certified and has done some work for me in the past; also helps he has a Tacoma XRunner and is excited to weld this up for/with me.

To each his own as far as style goes... but I just wanted to throw it out there that we are currently having a group buy on our APex series bumpers here. The APex bumpers are all 3/16" steel plate that is CNC laser cut, brake formed & then MIG welded.

You can also get a deal on our 3-pc bumpers with our Labor Day Sale that will be posted soon. Our 3-pc bumpers are a great option for those who want the added protection & winch mount, but who also like to keep things relatively light for the optimal performance... and they are Redneck approved! lol :p

Please let us know if you have any questions, or if you'd like a quote. Thanks!

You should probably trade your truck in on a Prius.

That bumper does not look redneck-ish. It's lower profile than most of the other options.

Rednick-ish lmao. Makes me think of the bumper I fabbed up for my Ford Ranger. I used 8x5 I beam at 3/8"s thick. It was all free, heavy as hell, but didnt look too bad. Had it attached to my frame via 2x3x3/8 angle iron. Welded the receiver right to the bottom of it.
