Steering bushings

    intake and exhaust
    Changed the steerin bushings in my 04 tacoma and now my steering wheel is a little off? does changing these mess up alignment???

    I would think that toe is what the bushings could affect most, assuming your bushings were really shot and you had a lot of rack movement. So, might move the wheel slightly. Won't affect camber or caster, but certainly a good idea to get the alignment, assuming all other front suspension/steering items are good.

    yea they were bad. just now thought it might have been like that all along (not aligned) but seemed like it bc of all the play in steering wheel with the wore out bushings.

    If the right side bushing is worn and allowing up and down movement, that affects toe. If the rack is in one position at the alignment shop and then driving the rack moves vertically, the toe is incorrect going down the road.

    Technically yea sure, but most observed rack movement from worn bushings is back and forth. On a lifted 1st gen, toe will change way more (in) just from from the weight of an average driver vs empty.
