Thanks Adam! Just didn't want to spend 45-48 with shipping.
My Hilift didnt fit unfortuantly the bolts are just barely spaced out to far, and then my top shovel clamp is to close to the tent to get latched. going to have a friend attempt to fix it after i get back from camping.

I put my daughters carseat in the back.
Installed my new to me KYB shocks and struts with the 3rd gen 4R coils I've been holding onto. Changed my oil and filter, spark plugs and wires and air filter. It was a productive day, now I'm at the drive-ins waiting for kick ass 2 to start.

Nice, do you ride the trails?
tomorrow will be the first time i have the ability to ride flat out with my sis, last time we rode together (dumont, president day weekend) she still had her 250ex, and that thing had no suspension or speed compared to the Z.

Afroman, do you just ride local trails? I had a nice 400ex that I sold after I totaled my first tacoma. I might be getting a new job soon and if I do I'm going to pick up either a yfz450 or ltr450. We can meet up and I'll take you to West Virginia. Best place I've ridden hands down. We could ride all weekend and never hit the same trail. When me and my dad used to go a lot there were weekends when we'd do 120 miles. My old 400ex..

Hmm. The hilift thing is a tricky one. I place the studs in the right location to fit my hilift, but there are differences in jacks even though they look identical. Like they get cast at different factories. I have a buddy with a jack that is identical to mine and you can't tell the difference looking at them side by side, but his holes are spaced about .5" differently. Sorry.

Let me know if I can help out.

I have his skids and they are great. Removing the filter is no more or less messy than with anything else. I have a fumoto valve and tubing for the main oil drain...works great.

It was fairly messy since my paper towel wasn't under the filter enough. If you put some paper towels on the skid plate on the driver side of the drain hole, you should be able to absorb most or all of the oil before it runs much. Or some people put a plastic bag around the filter when unscrewing it to catch the oil.

This. I don't have the fumoto so the hole has plenty of room to get a hand in there to turn the plug.
