Yeah, I might be racing in it this year, depending on a few things, I am also trying to race most of the Nationals too, I also am involved with a racing team and if then do the 1000 I am probably in.

Yeah those are about 80% street, if you get dirt tires you can ride with more confidence on the slick stuff to a certain point anyway, until skill runs out, hate when that happens.

They dont do Motocross in Super, it was an Off-road race.

We have a race out there at Superstition on the 13th, (4) 24 mile loops of bar banging action. I will probably be there if the H&H Nationals arent on the same weekend (just looked, its on 1/26-27) so they arent.

 

Different one, but yeah sorta.

Motocross is on a short track with big jumps
Supercross is on a shorter course with big jumps
GP is on a long course with small jumps and differing terrain (washes, etc)
Desert racing has several formats, listed here:
Hare & Hound
A Hare & Hound event is a marked course that is run over natural desert terrain. It consists of two or more unique loops totaling at least 60 miles. Typically, each loop is between 30 and 40 miles, with the first loop being easier than the second loop.

Desert Scramble
A Desert Scramble is like a typical desert race consisting of a marked course over natural terrain except the course is repeated to make up the total amount of miles. In a Desert Scramble, motorcycles and quads may race at the same time, but may not start on the same starting line.

European Scramble
A European Scramble event is a marked course that is run over natural desert terrain. It consists one loop of between 6 miles and sixteen miles. All riders run the same loop over and over for the duration of the event, which lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on the start. The European Scramble format is a great race to get your feet wet, and see what desert racing is about!

There are also Enduros , Hard Enduros , and Rallys as well
