    No programming.

Insert key in ignition, push green button on alarm brain (next to fob in picture), hold for 3 seconds, alarm light turns on, press lock on new fob and it's programmed. Turn off the ignition and then you've got a new fob.

Took maybe... 1 minute to do.

Trust me it works, there is nothing wrong with the fob, its the antenna thats run up under the dash and hidden by all kinds of shielding metal and electronics. Cut the tape on all the wires and find the grey wire with black stripe.Very last wire in the corner of the plug. It runs up the wad of wires about a foot and just ends. Pull the A-pillar and you can run a hanger or fish tape down it in the corner of the dash right to the wiring harness. Splice on 4ft of wire and pull up through the corner. Theres wires already running up the A-pillar so i just wrapped the new wire around those and stuffed the last bit up under the head liner.

Does this work for any alarm system?

Check the FCC on the back of your remote. I put that in ebay and it came up with this one but double check yours.

Lol. I did that. Old remote doesn't unlock inside my house. New one does. No problems.

For $15, skip coffee for a few days and try a new one. It's worth it. Just my .02.

    I have no idea.

I don't know whether aftermarket "brains" have a programming button or not.

I know it works with the stock one no problem.

hey could someone help me out and send me a link to someone doing the deck plate mod on a V6. I have been searching and searching and all i can find is people who have done them to the 2.4 and 2.7L. I have a few questions about the mod itself. What diameter deck plate will I need for my V-6 air box? and do I have to remove the EFI fuse?

Ha ha! It IS quite large! But the sound is well worth the space lost back there! :D The 10" didn't put out even half what this 12" does!

Nice! I hear those things put out quite the rumble as well! Especially for an 8" sub... they sound like a 15"!!!

For the people that want more than 25 feet of range, I did a 2 way alarm with remote start and can see what my truck is up to on an LCD screen that vibrates when I lock/unlock, I can start it from a quarter mile away, I can see how warm the inside of my truck is, and I can scare all the neighbors whenever I want. Plus a bunch of other features I didn't need.
