I've heard that it's greasy, never had it myself. Seems like it might be good in a properly-spiced stew. :notsure:

I was about 16 when I saw my first bear caped out. It looked like a Arnold what's his name on steroids; muscle on muscle. That experience pretty much ended all hope of me ever eating one of those things.

How have you folks faired through all the floods?

I'll bet the rattlesnakes will be out in full force once this system passes through.

Sitting in the NE Heights of Albuquerque, not exactly dry but safe for now. My apartment managers are going nuts keeping up with the leaky roof reports. I'm probably going to lose the use of the master bedroom if we get any more soakers like this morning.

Hope everyone else is safe. Most definitely glad we've put off any off-road meets until after this rain settles down. A good time to get out the wrenches and stay in the garage.

Same here in LL. Seems like we faired okay. We've had our share of rain but its been light to moderate. Nothing severe. The only thing that concerned us was the flood warning for the river. To say that would have been disastrous would be an understatement. Glad to see the warning has been lifted.

Certainly can't say the same for folks up north and down south. And lets not forget the poor folks in Colorado.

Yeah, this is nuts. Started with the remnants of a big storm pushing up from Mexico early in the week. That then restarted the monsoon pattern. So we've had a solid week where we've had heavy rains at some point each day. I'm searching for the accumulation numbers.

Found these totals (since Tuesday); NM totals are bad but Colorado's are incredible! I wonder how much of that we can expect down stream?

    Eldorado Springs, CO: 14.60"
    Boulder, CO: 12.30"
    Aurora, CO: 11.88"
    Colorado Springs, CO: 9.08"
    Summer Lake, NM: 8"
    Denver, CO: 5.8"
    Roswell, NM: 5.46"
    Centennial, CO: 3.99"
    Tucumcari, NM: 3.81"
    Las Vegas, NM: 3.22"
    El Paso, TX: 3.01"
    Albuquerque, NM: 1.45"

Note; these totals are as of 24 hrs ago...

Yeah, those totals for Colorado are nuts, especially after funnelling down off the mountains.

    Hello,

I have a 2006 Silver Hood for sale, non-scooped, $400. Mudflaps, front, $30. The plastic OEM cargo keepers which slide in the bed rails, $40. Tacoma badges, chrome, as well.

I have a LB Bed mat for $90.

I would like to trade out my chrome grill for a black grill, my silver over bumper for the black over bumper (need cutouts for Fog Lamps), and would trade my silver overfenders for black.

Send me a PM if interested. I live in the 'Q (East Mtns). Eric

    I have too many Toyotas...
Everything... and a bag of Cheetos.
The only two places in NM that got it bad were Las Vegas, and the towns down along the lower Pecos river. The rest was no big deal.

The news channels just sensationalized the whole thing like they do every story. The flows on the Rio through ABQ didn't even get as high as they do during spring runoff. I've rafted the river through town at levels higher than what we saw during these storms, and my Wife was walking the dogs down in the bosque before they even lifted the restrictions.

Really, it's kind of a joke how big a deal was made of these storms. Compared to people who see real floods, this was merely puddles in parking lots. I bet anyone who lives in the midwest along the big rivers would have had a good laugh watching the local news broadcasts from last night.

PS.. Thanks again for the diff drop, Tom! It worked out great.
