    LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
    I use Icom-V8 race radios with in helmet comms, they work amazing.

    Used them in Baja, and they have a 10+ mile range line of sight.

    Get the radio online and get the helmet comms and pushbutton from Baja Designs.

    My racing buddies have all kinds of radios, mine has the best reception of all, even the super expensive motorolla units.

    Yep, get ahold of Erik he's our local licenced HAM guy... he tuned mine & the performance is unmatched, guy really knows his shit....

    Wrap it with some electrical tape and then get some shrink wrap tubing that is big enough to go over it and shrink it, good to go, as long as the copper coil isnt broken it will still work.

    sweet, that's what i was hoping to hear.
    gonna check and see if the radio shack or truck stop has CB coax tomorrow (18 ft) and if they don't then i'll probably order the race radio and some coax from Amazon.
