So, some bad news and good news, i drove over a huge as bump in the road, (didn't see it) and really heard a loud thud... Went to school, and saw that one of my eff-ing leaf springs was broken, and bent.. Anyways, they haven't been replaced since we bought the truck in 1995.. I live in iowa, and my frame is rusty, and we brought it down to this place called Merrill Axle's, downtown and they said they could fix the leaf, and add one and reinforce the frame.. for about 800 dollars, my question is, should i do that? or should i buy brand new Stealth Custom 6 series rims with 33's? I need the tires pretty bad, espically since winters right around the corner, thank you TW!!

ummmm sounds like something that you need vs something that you want.

IMO go with the frame and fixing the leafs.

i would question the "fix the leaf" part of what they are going to do for u for 800 bucks sounds like a whole new pack might b in order for both sides first or at least replace the broken leaf
