So you will already have a spring compressor

Maybe not. Get a quote before you authorize the work! Toyotas have a clock spring in the steering wheel. My last lex had it come on intermittently for a while. Cheap part, mild PITA to replace

Wait until you get it back with $3000 worth of repairs needed.....or so they say.
They told me my inner tie rod was bad so I changed it only to find out it's not bad. Took it back for re-inspection with the tie rod in my cup holder and they said nothing. They also tripped a check engine light and wasn't going to tell me. Priority Toyota's service is SHIT!

One of Priority's techs actually is a forum member on here...

I had issues with them inspecting my truck, I won't be going back for an inspection at least. Never had issues with anything else there but I do 99.9% of my own maintenance.

I was talking with a co-worker yesterday about car service in generall and she brought up Priority Toyota. I told her what you told me and she brought up how they said she needed a new transmission because metal was found in the pan. Her husband came down and the metal shavings were "dust size" and pretty typical. Needless to say, her tranny is good...
Did you pay to do your plugs?

I once went in with my dad when he had his car looked over for running rough and they said new plugs were needed. My brother and I replaced them about a year ago so we were like ok, show us the plugs. They were clean as a whistle so then he tried to say they needed to be re-gapped. So I asked to see the gap. Almost perfect according to spec. So then he was like, "if its off even a little, your engine will missfire... We were done at that point.

Took it in for a second opinion and found a mouse next in the air box. No cost to remove.

Case in point, never settle for an initial diag. Always ask to see for yourself, or if you dont know what to look for, get a second opinion.

Hmmmmm seriously though it wouldn't be much to have a shop with a wall mounted compressor do it...and I know just a shop that would probably do it for nothing for me...

    Can always do this:

Someone on here did it this way and highly encouraged it so we tired on my truck but without taking the lower ball joint off the LCA and almost died...

Not goings to work on coil overs...it slips from the bottom not the top. Must use an actual spring compressor

For stock coils and second gens in general, that method does work
