Nice pics hatter. There was a lot of glare when/where we decided to park, the pics I got of the line look like shit.

Might be time for another mod day: I know Ben's got a bumper to put on, and I might have a line on some front 5100s. :D

Anybody else have stuff to install?

I've noticed that most of us have some sort of bed cover...

Unfortunately I had to leave before the pictures were taken.

I bought my soft cover before I left Wichita. But, I did it because the wife won't let me have a topper... even a soft topper.

Damn woman ruins all my fun. No bumpers. No soft top. No bed rack...

Just buy one and explain it later. Or explain it by saying how her stuff won't get wet in the bed.

Speaking of wetness, it was super nasty out today while doing some winch training with SAR. It convinced me I need more 'stay dry' technology, so I just bought up some WeatherTech vent shades and a WARN wireless remote.

Looks like waiting paid off, too. WARN came out with a new remote that should just plug right in to the control box without any mounting needed like the old design. You can then unplug it and trot it over to a different winch if needed. Me likey!

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Dude, that new wireless system looks legit! Good thing you waited, I need to add that to the "mod-list". Is it me, or is it less-expensive than the "older" unit? I thought the other one was almost $200 iirc.

Good news! ARB is sending me the side-braces for the bumper. I think everything I need will be coming-in this week: Delrin Rollers, Roller fairlead, 886s, AALs, Side Braces.

They dropped the price of the old unit, and the new unit is cheaper.

Old unit was about $180, now is $75 or so
New unit is $140 or so and is totally worth it from the looks of things.

Read this, went to Amazon, ordered, paid, now waiting!

    Price: $116.73 [IMG]

I was really wanting one but have had so many little things waiting to install that I didn't want to add to the list. This made my day.

    :headbang: Prime FTW!

I was able to get my coils, rollers, and AAL w/ Prime shipping. They were the same cost as everywhere else (just shipped faster :D)

I don't have prime since I don't order enough stuff. However, I learned that I can use the prime account at work and provide my credit card as a one time payment. Woot... for next time!

Not sure where to put this, but since most of you guys are local to me...

Have any of you guys installed a set of BAMF sliders? I have a set to be welded on and the quotes I'm receiving are ridiculous. The most recent one from TorFab was $350 (more than the sliders cost w/ shipping). I honestly don't even run trails that require sliders (thought they would be cheap insurance). At this point I'm Thinking I will just sell them and invest the money elsewhere (hence the FS thread).

I'm more than willing to pay, but $300+ is not worth it IMO.

Assembled. The frame plates & gussets need to be welded to the frame.

They essentially look like this, but without the frame plate and gussets attached.

    _DSC2711_a71b8d564eea5928ec31be159098a7051006140a.jpg

Am i crazy or is this what it usually costs to install these things?

Here's the install thread Jerry posted:
