Oops... I was thinking of the fake skidplate on the '05-'11
Looks like the '12+ is a separate part.

    I don't " have too ".

A matter of opinion I guess...

No snow ( or at least Very Rare ).
Temperature never goes below high 20's F.
    Low cost of living.
Vehicle sales tax capped at $300.

    Nope I still win! :)

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
When i replaced mine it was something like $160 from toyota. the grey part is the current version of a lower valance, and it has 6 or so snap clips on top and bottom, easiest if you take the grill off. The only hardish part is there are 2 retainer clips (blue plastic) that you have to take out from the back side before you pull it off one on each side basically centered top to bottom.

good luck! if you cant find it still PM me and i will dig aroung and find my paperwork to see if i can get the part number.

i just robbed this pic from the post a few up, only to show where those blue clips are.

the good news is if you break all of the blue clips off the part still stays on with the push clips :)

My dealership has been amazing. Zero complaints about both sales and service. I live in the South Bay and have several dealerships to choose from within 10 - 20 miles of each other. I have been to about 4 different ones. Piercey Toyota is fantastic.

NO i don't work for the dealership or Toyota.:p

Installed the factory omitted gunslinger package, lol. The holster fit well there, and would almost stay as is, but would start to slip after about 2-3 draws. But adding the Velcro makes that puppy hold super tight. I can still get the holster out if need be, but my plan is to just leave it where it is all the time and take the gun out. :quickdraw:

Thanks, buddy. I've been planning it since I got the truck, but finally found the Velcro in mamas sewing stuff. Yes, of course I had to ask her where it was... I'm a man, a married man! lol

For a reference, my gun is a 4 1/4" barrel, Colt 1911, for others who might wonder about fitment.
