    Little know fact...

    I've been hit by bird crap three times in my life. One of which was through an open sunroof in a slow moving vehicle. That one hit me dead square in the middle of my forehead.

    Be warned... if we do ever end up meeting and sitting around a campfire, you might want to have Monte and Ben sit next to me.

    Doesn't the ladder get in the way of people trying to sleep on the annex floor? From pictures I've seen it looks to land right in the middle of the annex, and you probably need it down to support the cantilevered section.

    BlackDawg, thanks man. I finally found the link in the beginning of this thread. I wish I would of known about the trip, I might have come down for at least one Leg. So in the case that I might do that trip in the future what was the best leg in your opinion and what do you recommend for my truck? I have a 13 DCLB and I'm not trying to scrape it.

    The Goose Lake trail was definitely a blast and very, very scenic. But not a trail for the faint of heart. Definitely requires 4x4, some lift and slider protection. :D

    Well we posted the plans last February :p haha

    And for tame not super modded truck needed but beautiful..Colorado part for sure. LT 2 you will scratch or dent something, no avoiding it.

    Goose lake is fantastic but it also has places not for a stock truck at all or inexperienced driver.

    Morrison just takes balls of steel and it has areas that you could dent stuff.

    Co trails are much tamer.

    Leg 3, was my first trip ever... 80 % of trip we went on would have been fine. I wouldn't have run Black bear and Poughkeepsie gulch are trails I wouldn't have run by my self. Everything else we did there you didn't need any mods for. Fun trip :D. Think of doing Moab next year.

    Any idea what mountain is in the distance in this pic? Sun is setting to the right/west. So the view is looking south. Pic was taken near or at the top of Beartooth Pass.

    thats from the east of it though. Its Powell's sort of trade mark land mark.

    thats the mountain that is older on the top then the bottom as that big square looking chunk was exploded on top of the mountain basically from a volcano from one of the Absorkas.

    its a fun hike too.

    I thought it might be. Wan't sure though. Kinda looked like a squarish top in my pic. It didn't have the normal, pointy top that most mountain tops have.

    Ben had spotted the Lambo and gone ahead a couple of harpin turns to see it close up. Next thing I know I hear this amazing sound and it is the Aventador racing down the switchbacks. :drool:
