    Thanks man

I havent tested out the droop yet but im guessing its going to be affected by my billys. I dont know their exact extended lengths but i do know they are meant for only 3". Next plan is to pull them off and measure full droop with a forklift

^that sounds like a good plan. I'll be running 6" shackles by the end of the week too, hopefully. If I get them on, we can compare notes.

Great build thread! How do you find your suspension system on the washboard/pot hole logging roads and a good speed?

Also, whats the deal with CB radios lol, do you need a specific type for bc etc and how do you find your local loggers channel etc? if thats possible...

    Cheers
    Chris,

Ill say this, my lift setup rides 100x better than stock. Especially on rough roads.

The front Toytec (Eibach coils & 5100s) rides a bit rough due to not having much weight up front. Im sure once i get a real bumper it will soften up. The rear All Pro leaf springs work great, again with some added weight. Lifted coils and springs are designed to be tight and heavy so having the extra weight gives them better performance off road. If you want something that will soak up every little bump, talk to this guy ^^^ (Conman117) and he will help you spend ALL your money haha

    What are you driving?

I dont know much about CB radios, but most offroaders have a basic Citizens Band (CB) short wave 40 channel radio. They are a cheap and effective way to communicate to others in short distances. I dont really know anything about commercial radios for highways and loggers so i cant answer that question. I think they run on a different frequency and setup. I would stop and ask next time.

No... they sent springs spec'd for a newer taco... I'll post some pics of what they look like, I think they will work great if I can ever get them on!

Also, how hard is Whipsaw? It's always been on my to do list...

Whipsaw was a lot easier than i thought. Its a very nice trail because it allows you to test out your truck on certain obstacles. But if you dont feel like smashing your truck too much theres always easier detours. There were only a couple spots that gave me some trouble being still open diff in the rear.

    These ones:

Made it up after 5 attempts and a whole lot of skinny pedal

Had to get tugged up this one

Ya i realy like them. Havent really tested them out yet but theyve seen some rocks. Make sure you put a couple good thick coats on the underside, seems to take more of a beating.
