That's because people put cheap plug and play, useless temps like 8k, hid's in reflector housings that aren't designed for hids. When done right (i.e. projectors), you'll never want to go back to stock.

Blurry but you get the point.

    Bone stock. For now.
The guy I was talking to mentioned they were 6k (I think). I'm not even sure what that means. So what should I be looking for. I don't mind spending the money if the product/outcome is good. I know there are tons of threads on this subject already, but I'm too damn tired to search for it right now.

I have the mini h1's, 35w 5000k. The "k" is the temperature (color) of the light. 4300k provide the most usable light but look more yellow like stock halogens. I have 5000k for a whiter light.

I'm cutting you off the Jameson!

I just checked his build, he did it on a bed rack so that option looks to be out the window

Ah gotcha, maybe using a few, like 4 quick fists would work?

Got any pictures of what it looks like all mounted up?
I checked, and well... he doesn't have a build :(

Finally, after breaking part of my grill and having to superglue part of it, I got the new mesh on!

Looks so much better than the chicken wire I had! Haha

I'll get it put back on the truck in the morning.

Looks good! I've been wanting to do this. Where can I buy the mesh? Home Depot?

Here's a question I need some help with from anyone. My passenger side carpet/ mat area keeps getting wet. I can't figure out why? Whenever the truck is on, for whatever reason moisture finds its way to that passenger floor board area. It doesn't feel greasy/ oily, just feels like water, nor does it smell like anything. Can't figure it out...
I did have to replace my radiator today because it decided to start seeping from the top. Could the radiator be any cause for fluid getting into the passenger side floor mat area? I'm just hoping that the radiator starting to seep and the water on the passenger side aren't related. If they are I hope it doesn't ruin my new radiator!

I did run the AC for a little bit today and noticed that there wasn't much condensation, usually there's a puddle under my truck but not today. Could this be a sign? How would I try to unclog the condestation drip drain?

I ordered it from Homertaco. A little expensive, but so worth it!

As for your wet floorboard, it tends to happen when your a/c evaporator box is plugged.
