265/75/16? They look a good inch bigger than the stones you have on now. Gonna paint those wheels?

    Nice looking truck either way

Yup, 265/75/16's. The other tires are 265/70/16's, so not quite as tall. I should have some 5100's arriving tomorrow also. WooHoo! As far as the wheels, I had an extra set of factory wheels that I painted over the weekend. I think they'll end up looking pretty good on the truck! Can't wait to see it tomorrow!

Installed my grill with the new mesh from Homertaco, got the windows tinted to match the factory tint, painted the trim on the corner lights, and plastidipped the Tacoma emblems on the doors.

For those of you who threw on bigger tires:

I upgraded to 285s but when trailing my Dad in his stock 02' Taco going 60mph, my speedometer says 55/56mph.... is there anyway to fix this perhaps so I don't one day forget about it and go 65 in a 60 (which would actually be like 70/71 in a 60)...

Well ya..you have bigger tires..they travel more distance per rotation..thus reading "slower" on your speedo.

There is a fix though. You just replace the gear on the tcase output for the speedo drive. Id have a part # for you..but I always got it off TTORAs tech/FAQ section..and its down..due to spamming..so...sorry

Do you have an ultraguage? You can calibrate that for the larger tires and get a bit more accuracy on how fast you're going.
