    My owners manual says it comes on every 5k, it will start to blink at startup at 4k. When you change the oil you can reset it

    just hold the odometer button down while on the mileage tab and turn the key to 'on'

    should see a bunch of flashing zero's counting down and the mileage tab will show again.

    :rofl:

    just hope I still have the electrical wiring diagram, that single plug next to the AC on the plastic bracket is in the place of where the 4wd ecu goes...need to know what those wires are :eek:

    That's awesome that you're doing a 4wd conversion, much respect.
    You sure the harness just doesn't plug into the 4wd ecu. Can't imagine they'd make different harnesses for the same truck with different options.

    i've been thinking that, but I pulled the entire 4wd wiring from the donor truck anyways just to be on the safe side.

    poking around behind the dash looks like the terminal for the 4wd control knob is already wired in, just tapped off...so i've been leaning more on the trucks are built with the 4wd harness, and just configured depending on the truck build at the factory.

    I'll have to also get creative with how i'll have to modify the trans support to work with my mid skid since i'll have to use the Inchworm trans adapter for the 2wd trans.

    the "remaining" things that need to be done besides bolting up the transfercase are;

    wiring
    trans support
    lengthen fwd drive shaft ~2.5"
    shorten rear drive shaft to fit...I guess it could be short enough to make a 1-piece out of the DCLB shaft that I still have.

    Anyone know where a good place to look for used parts might be? I've only been to the junkyard at the bottom of lehua and that didn't have much.

    They hooked me up a pretty good price for a master window switch and even cleaned it nice, no complaints here

    Anyone use pond liner for their squeaky leafs? I know Mike sprayed his down, and some mainland guys use pond liner (thicker than bicycle tube). I called around and could't find pond liner by the foot. Bought a length of the rubber floor moulding, but it is super thick.

    Thoughts?
