Designing a transfer case skid for you guys. It also covers the cat converter. Too much demand to not do it. A full set will be less than Budbuilt or Skid Row. I hope to have the prototype bent up next week.

Changed out the rear diff fluid and did a drain and refill on the tranny fluid. Was sort of brown so hopefully a few drain and refills over the next few months will keep her restored. Only 97k on the ticker

Just got the truck back from being painted. Its finally got fresh paint and clear coat. Now I wont have to wax it everyday to keep it from turning pink!

Not bad, got it 3 1/2" from the front of the grill.. I wanted it tucked in as far as possible.. Did you remove the crush cans on the front? That's all I did then cut a tad and knocked the crossmember over the frame ends with a sledge and got it all leveled up then welded it up along the sides and bottom of the frame.

Went and bought a Duralast Gold battery since my old battery was nearly 3 years overdue for replacement haha

When I put the new battery in, my computer was idling the motor at 300rpm! The quietest I've ever heard my engine! Haha

ill have to go grab a side pic to compare but we took the crush cans off and then welded on about 2 inches of rectangular tubing to mount the cross member. Thats the reason we needed to extended it else the cross member wouldn't have fit

Haha yes. The computer resets after being disconnected from the battery for so long. The next time I was at idle after driving it a few miles it was in the high 500's at idle. Which is still slightly below what it used to be, but not by much.
