I've never seen a white corner reflector in a stock housing.
    It wouldn't be legal anyways.

There are some Ebay headlights that have clear reflectors on the outside. Try PMing AsianAnts, he might have some extra parts laying around from past retrofit projects.

Maybe it was just clear (white) corner parking bulbs, instead of the standard amber bulb.

I bought the crystal clear headlights, they have the clear corners.

Great write up man. A buddy and I are both doing ours next weekend and this will help. Next would probably be the retrofit

Has anyone tried tinting the bowls slightly as well with vht nightshades or something or will that highly affect the output of the lights

I would only suggest doing that on a retrofitted system with PROJECTORS.... The factory setup relies heavily on the reflective properties of the bowl... Maybe entirely, I'm not sure.... What I do know that s on 2nd gens we have a piece that partially covers the leading edge of the bulbs and is reflective on the outside which more than likely helps with beam dispersion.

Just my random thought.... I could be wrong, wait for the light and electrical gurus to step in.

It honestly might look great...... But function will probably suffer massively.
Just wait till u get the retrofits done that u talked about up there.

The front of the lamp is covered on most vehicles.
The few that are not, the low-beam lamp itself is paint-dipped on the tip (even the H4 lamp is dipped, it is only the high beam lamps that are not dipped).

Just one of the guys I hoped would chime in, thanks for the input. I'm a Lil medicated and can't remember any past vehicles and the tip being covered or not.

That is one of the problems with the "plug and play" HID kits in vehicles that use the 4-lamp 9005/9006 lamps. A lot of them don't have glare shields over the 9006 low beam, and you can't shield an HID with paint.
    Same goes for fogs.
