    Wild Jersey fighter was pretty stressed out from the hurricane that hit Jersey. He was the person who set up the SS last year. He was the first to receive a gift... and someone sent him a dildo. He was already stressed working 18 hour shifts with no breaks. He didn't even have time to save his own house or to clean it up. He ended up getting banned due to that and some other comments

    Yup - I'm still undecided if I want in at all this year

    Oh, lots of things. The cliffnotes are:
    - someone commented that they were going to send a "rape kit" as a gift
    - Susan and I and many others said that wasn't something to joke about and wasn't an appropriate gift.
    - they argued that it was then called me out on it and started a shit fest with me. I stood my ground ,they got banned. Most of the posts from that got deleted
    - everyone (well, most everyone) got the "gimme, gimme's" really bad and were asking for certain, sometimes expensive items.
    - we had to remind everyone that its the thought that counts and to stop asking for certain gifts.
    - someone got a shitty gift and started whining about it. people told them to shut up and stop complaining. And once again reminded people that its the thought that counts
    - that person in return sent a totally inappropriate gift to another member to prove a point. Mass confusion and comedy ensued.

    At least Joe was trying to be a good sport about it - there were lots of hilarious PM's between him and I. He thought maybe it was mailed to him by accident...like the person bought it for themselves and accidentally scooped it up in the box of stuff being mailed out...so he was afraid to say anything about it at first. Turned out the person did mean to send it and was trying to prove a point about the whole "just be grateful that you got a gift, its the thought that counts" ordeal.

    The one good thing about last year is we didn't have any bad santas - everyone followed through and sent gifts.
