Swaybar installation?

    Im currently installing my swaybar. Does this look correct? The hoop faces downward?

    Damn. Is it gonna hurt anything facing this way? Im pretty sure i pulled it off this way because I had to hacksaw the passenger link. And thats the way i reinstalled it.

    It will be fine. Many folks who run a drop bracket lift flip them like this.

    Yes, the hoop faces downward. The sway bar can only be installed in one orientation.

    Something to watch for if you ever upgrade the factory skid plates: Most aftermarket front skid plates replace the two U-channel braces running longitudinally under the sway bar. Some can interfere with the sway bar. All-Pro had to redesign their skid plate in Aug 2010 for this reason. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/all-pro-off-road/111120-new-05-ifs-skid.html#post2282319

    ^I'm surprised you didn't run into issues. If the swaybar is flipped I'd expect it to either hit the radiator/condenser lines or hit the tie rods.

    I remember having to fuck with it a bit......But I don't remember it hitting anything. Hell.......Ive had it in and out so many times, I may have put it in both ways, but never paid attention.
