Took my truck in today, turns out I had a bad O-ring in my O2 sensor, causing my gas mileage to go bad. Also lost a clamp to my air intake.

Found the loud noise as well, bad rear axel bearing. $395 later, it will be good to go...Hopefully. Anything is better than 13 mpg on the highway.

What headlight housings did you go with and are they pretty quality, i bought cheap ebay ones and i got cheap ebay ones. The light is all spotty looking. Not evenly distributed.

when i have money to burn, i'll probably attempt a retro-fit to the old set and if all goes well then try on the new set

Yeah I told myself I was going to do that too and when it came down to it... the new ones were going in the oven. Super simple. My only advice is when you crack the lenses off pull them slowly and when the sealant starts to stretch out like cheese, break them with a toothpick or something so that when they break they don't fall down onto the housing. I got a little bit on the inside and that shit would not come off so I smoothed it out and painted it :anonymous:

I had a missing cylinder today so I got new plugs because it had been a long time since I replaced them (Before I bought the truck). Almost bought wires at the dealership, but said, no that can't be it. :face palm: Number two cylinder wire cad come off on the plug, didn't even have any resistence when I pulled on the boot.

Waiting on the dealership to open and get a set tomorrow really isn't an option, I need to get to work.

What wires would you put on if you couldn't put on oem? And had to get them from O'rielly's or Autozone?

They are the same price as the dealership. I may have to go get them. No one has the NKGs. Autozone has bosch. Never put anything other than oem on. May have to go with the import direct.

I ran the bosch from autozone once and i pulled one off one day and damaged it i guess, had a miss after that. Replaced them import directs and fixed it. Wont use the bosch again.
