    yea i was just curious to see what type of oil has been used in the front and rear diff// and also the transfer case to i guess..

    ECGS recommends 85W-140 synthetic - it's what I am using right now.

    Well I live in Houston, it's hot as hell 75% of the time here, and the other 25% of the time I wouldn't consider cold. 75W-85 or
    $30 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)
    75W-90 would be idea if you lived where it was cold (like 30 degrees) 75% of the time.

    80W-90 would still work even in the south. Unless you're towing day in and day out, it's plenty thick enough for daily driving.

    and i did try searching but just kept coming up with blow diffs, and oil leaks and such..
