Looks awesome! What flaps are those in the back?

Good job. I've thought of doing the same thing.

Its after Mokuleia beach park. Its called Kaena point state recreation area. Its a little small. But its really the only good place to legally off road that doesn't require a permit or application. Its on the complete opposite side of the island for me, but I try to go out as much as possible.

A few guys had dash cams, but nobody post anything yet. It was a pretty big meet. LOL! :D big meet...
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/hawaii/298593-october-27-2013-kaena-point-outing.html
And Kaena point has a lot to offer besides wheeling. There is a large fenced in nature preserve that reminds me of Jurassic park where you can see native birds nesting, monk seals and turtles on the beach. Great hiking with a large natural arch, a big sea cave and lots of awesome tide pools.
Nother pic. First time uploading from the iPhone. Hope it's right...

Here's a recent pic at my camp in Johnsburg NY. I just got the camp finished off. I have 113 acres but it borders on about 8000 acres of private and state land with a lot more near by. There's old logging roads everywhere behind me and the guy who owns 600 that borders me lets me drive my quad on it. You could use a truck on much of it but there's a bunch of old ditches, rocks, holes and old logging bridges a truck couldn't get past without a chainsaw and a lot of work. I'm lucky with what I get to use but here in the Adirondack Park off roading is hard to find and off limits on state land. Snowmobiles, of course, are completely welcome.

I don't know anywhere that you can off-road around here. I'd like to do a little close by. You can't sneeze in the Adirondack Park without being treated like a criminal.

I’ve been in Lake George for 20+ years and way back it wasn’t nearly as bad as it is today. People would give you permission to use their land and there were thousands of acres of unposted, ungated private land with absent landowners. Just be nice, don’t wreck things and you were usually OK. The guy with the 600 acres behind me wants people to use the trails to keep them open for him. He’s a logger and therefore has a different attitude than many others.

My property has the best southern access to the 1000’s of acres behind me. Locals have been using it for decades. I let the hunting club use it and gave permission to a couple other hunters as well. A couple ATV’ers have gotten lost and wound up in my field. I’m nice to them all. There was a small cabin on the property before I bought it. A guy from down state had a contract on the property. He began posting, locking the gate and angrily throwing out every one he saw. The cabin burnt down, the economy crashed and I got it cheap.

    100%

That's always the case... Not just in off roading but anything... There is always some asshole that has that, "I don't give a shit attitude." It's too bad

I agree, but with State land it would never happen.

Wanted the Matte black V-tec raptors, out of stock which was good because I liked these MB
Alloys better. Took off my silver FJ trail teams if anyone is interested in them.

A few years ago a couple guys down the street with 700 acres tried to open a pay to play ATV park. Even the private land up here is under the jurisdiction of the APA, “Adirondack Park Agency” They’re good and bad and a bit more. Follow the $$. The hoops the owners had to go through were too much. The park never opened and the land has been for sale for a year or two.
