hi guys i was thinking about doing some mods on my "mini taco". I want to put a new grill and was thinking about tinting the front headlights. What other cool mods can i do? Any suggestions? and also do you think a billet grill would look cool on the minis?

A quality car alarm is always my first mod. And getting one with remote engine start is nice too.

yup i already have an alarm on mine...but i would like a new grill and to slap some bigger beefier tires on them, i heard the 5 lug performs a lot better with bigger tires.

That caught my eye. Performs better how?

The only thing I can think of would be wider/stickier tires reducing wheel spin or increasing potential lateral Gs.

yea im not sure about that either i just saw in another thread they were talking about an improved ride in the 5 lugs. BUT if that isnt necessarily true can you guys clarify? i mean i'd also like the look of bigger tires too.

The ride would get less rough if you got a set of bigger tires. My mother wasn't happy with the ride of her CTS so when it came time for a new set of tires, my dad got her the next size up from stock and it softened the ride considerably. But keep in mind that those were street tires, not an all-terrain tire. That could technically be making the car perform better, but not really.
