Will 2013 non-jbl touch screen OEM deck fit 2012 tacoma?

So i have a 2012 tacoma, non-jbl. I have the glossy black head unit.

I want to get a 2013 touchscreen upgraded factory head unit, and read somewhere that the wiring may have changed from 2012 to 2013. I have seen pics of the back of the head units 2012 vs 2013 and the am/fm antenna port looks different. In the 2012 it looks like the antenna plugs into a round hole, but the 2013 looks like a harness square style port....

can anyone confirm if the 2012 AND 2013 wiring/plugs are different and incompatible....for non JBL head units

there is a lot of discussion from '12 owners upgrading to '13+ touch screens.

You need an antenna adapter and 28 pin to 20 wiring harness, the part numbers and links are in the thread on the last few pages.
