Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
who the hell would two tone thier truck?

lol just kidding. yours is the opposite of mine before i changed the white to red.

I did my bumper this weekend to get rid of the last of the chrome on my truck. Came out really good.

    Before:

Also did the tailpipe while I was at it. We will see if it lasts.

I'm curious to see how your exhaust holds up. I wonder how that vinyl will handle the heat.

    Oh, and Chive On!

I will update down the road if it starts to come off. I rode out to my parents house yesterday which was about 30 minutes and when I got there I checked it. I wiped off some sand from the road and I could touch it with my hand. It was kind of hot but not that bad.

Nothing really. Just sprayed it with some simple green and used a tire brush. Then rinsed and wiped it clean. No scuffing or anything special.

Sweet, glad I could get the creative wheels turning lol. If this doesn't work on mine, I will strip it and bedliner the tailpipe. If that doesn't work, I'll chop it off at the axle. FYI, I did about 5 healthy coats on mine starting at the rearmost hanger next to the spare tire.

Excellent. How does it look? Is there a better choice for spraying the wheels?

The overhead console, does that come off easy? Don't wanna break it.

Yes, there is only one screw and a few clips. Open the sunglasses holder and there is a screw in there then pull down gently on the front of the console (windshield side). Just be careful because there are 2 metal clips that will probably not come off with the console. They will more than likely be left in the little hole they came out of but you will see them. I just fished them out with my finger and they slide back over the plastic tab on the console. Then just unhook the wires from the lights and compass and wahlah.

Did it take 2 full cans to do the rear bumper? I need to do mine since I did the chrome surround grill a few weekends ago.
