Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can use slugs and yes, they can reach out pretty far while still being relatively accurate. I don't know how many hunters actually use them though and I'd hope the ones that do make sure they have a clean shot before letting one loose.

    Heh.
We'd probably hope that hunters using rifles would do that too, lol.

That's true... It's likely the NY incident was with a rifle as I don't believe they have the shotgun restriction like we do in MA.

Well, I just ordered this bad larry for my wife's Subaru:

... Which needed these to mount to:

... which needed a fit kit, and which needed these to secure the whole mess:

If I didn't have a 50% off card it would have cost almost $1000 for this bullshit.

What makes it worse is how shitty their website is. You literally have to go to a store (I went to EMS twice) and find a versed service rep who can give you actual part numbers to make sure you are buying the right stuff and that it'll all fit right. Woulda been easier to buy her a new Tacoma.

I agree with you on their website. I tried navigating it a while back and got frustrated. I found that it was easy to assemble a full set of everything you'd need to make the complete (overpriced) kit, but trying to change options was a PITA.

That seemed to spit out the right fit kit, but then it shows two different "complete" aero bar kits with the same friggin picture, but they are different. And instead of saying "kit includes" those stupid shits translated it as "kit requires"...

Like I said, I had to go do a lot of research.

Lame you think in this day and age it would be easy enough to make a website that works correctly

And those guys don't have a service rep to call and place an order and ensure the correct purchase, you need to talk to an authorized dealer. SMH.

Depressing observation for the day #1: (actually happened last night) I went shopping for an angle grinder to use on some masonry and every f-ing one at Home Dumpster is MADE IN CHINA! WTF? Ended up getting a Milwaukee btw.

Depressing observationfor the day #2: I bought incorrect dies to work on my lug! Turns out the pitch on these 12 mm studs is 1.5 and my die is 1.75 ugh. Back to the store.......

Depends. I don't access the interwebs on the weekends (my own personal thing, for the sake of sanity and productivity alike).
On Monday morning I don't read back over all the posts since Friday, I just read whatever's on the last page and start from there. But through the week I try to keep up.

It's at it's limits and on its limiter. I'll hold 8k in my truck and side step. Build it stronger and don't break. Stock it won't rev past 5500. I beat on every vehicle and this truck has given me no issues.

I have two angle grinders. A Makita that's older than dirt and works like a champ. I use it for cutting metal or any fine work because the trigger is beautiful. And a $40 Ryobi that I use for fiberglass work, so I can run it for hours straight and not care when it gets burnt up or the handle gets covered in wet epoxy.
