My fog light switch no longer illuminates with the rest of my dash.

Does anyone know if the the little incandescent bulb in the 2nd gen fog light is replaceable, or is it possibly tied to a fuse in the fuse box or anywhere else. ( i checked the fuse box and all were good).

Or am i just going to shell out 50 or 60 bucks for new one?

its indeed replaceable....pop out the switch, and I think 1 plastic screw/retainer holds in the bulb.

Mine was replaced when it died 3 months after I had the truck and it cost me nothing.

have u tried thumping the lower dash below the switches a little?

x2. This is a bad picture but you can see the little brown circle, that is the bulb. It pops out with a flat head screw driver (just unscrew it and pop a new one in it's place).

Is there any tricks to "popping out" the fog lamp switch?

Where can I get the replacement bulbs for that switch? Is that something that they would have at an Auto Parts Store?

I guess it's off to my local Toyota parts counter! For some reason that switch is impossible to find in the dark with the bulb burned out.

I actually don't think the light has ever worked on my fog light switch. I bought my truck brand new and that light never appears when I turn on my fogs. What is the bulb size?

The fog light switch is only backlit like the rest of the dash assembly , there is no additional light for when the fog lights are switched on versus off

Anyone happen to have, or know where to get, the part number for this little bulb? Unfortunately, there isn't a Toyota dealership in my small community, and getting to the nearest one is a time consuming and expensive ferry ride away...

They all should. I was in your same boat, until I did a little searching on here. It's a really easy fix.
