My video? For some reason it won't play on mobile devices. It should play while it's embedded in my forum post though. If not you have to use something besides a phone or tablet..... Sorry I don't know how to get around it

Put ya on the maybe list, but hoping to see ya in Monroe tomorrow AM

I'm not, my house is 45 minutes away & it'd be colder than a witches tit up there!

    Not for meeeee. Refresh

Gotcha! Nah we'll have plenty of straps, I have a HiLift, and a CB only makes it more convenient to communicate. Honking will do just fine if you really need to pull over/get stuck-- or we just stick you in the middle of the convoy

    Avoid that eye contact!!

I'll put ya down as a "Go", should be no problem convincing him

I didn't ask for a quote, but I bet the shipping for one set of sliders would be ~$150.

The fill plates add 17lbs and several HP

I'd still like to camp. I will bring my stuff in case it happens. I don't know exactly where to camp out there yet.

So how strong an air compressor do I need to get? My understanding is that just because a pump says it can get to 60 or 100 psi it doesn't mean it will get you there fast. I assume that is the difference between a $50 and $300 compressor?

Check the CFM rating. For tires that is whats important. If your going to run air tools you need both or a big tank. If I remember right 2.5CFM is not bad.

If you're looking to get your hands on a decent compressor like the mv 90 superflow by tomorrow, 4wheel parts in lynnwood has the same pump branded as Smittybilt in stock for $199. They have a smaller one as well by Smittybilt that is the same as the super flow mv 50 I believe. Ive had both, the bigger of the two is obviously faster at filling tires but the smaller isn't far behind. There is a comparison video on youtube if you search mv90 vs mv50. As stated before, the flow rate is what you want to look at, not max psi... any pump is better than no pump though if you're planning to air down much.

Do a search on this thread for posts by me written this week. I talked a bit about compressors. I'm out for the trip tomorrow. I meant to say something sooner but this week has kept me from being on top of things - I've been creating work instead of solving anything, and I need the weekend to get some sanity. n.clark, I didn't hear back from you about if you want the spare tire. I'll give a text here soon. cosmicfires, you have next dibs, but we'll have to work out a way to meet up. We'll cross that bridge if it comes to that.

I may need to use someone's compressor tomorrow... depending on how low I go with my PSI :anonymous: maybe I can get to Safeway in Monroe on 10-15 PSI if the snow isn't that deep/bad
