BTW, I showed my wife the vid that you posted & she said "It looks a lot better & bigger than last time, looks like it's worth the trip". I know she'll go anywhere that I go to just to please me but it makes it better to see that she likes it. I'll try my best to not hold anyone back getting stuck.... haha!

!!!!!!!! !HOMESTEAD HUMP MEET POSTPONED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok guys we are going to be postponing the hump meet because it has been raining for days
now and at this rate the only way we are getting throw the hump is by air boat.

So the link above is for what was supposed to be the meet at the hump on December 15,
is now going to be at JW Corbett. Hope to see you all out there

 

by the way, this is what the weather looks like right now so the hump is definitely
under water. So that's why we changed the location.

The hump would probably be better to go to in the middle of the cold season.

 

Honestly, as long as you air down, and don't stop directly in the deeper sugar sand, you should do fine.

I'm in the military, there is no sick time...I got vacation time but I need that for my trip home in feb.

 

Tell them that the zombies are invading JW Corbett. There's an Indian burial ground there...we can make it sound like they are raising from the dead...

Haha, I fly a desk at work so even if they did I don't think they'd let me go and enjoy getting some zombies.

 

I actually have a friend with a M35 (Deuce and a Half) that wants to take it out there...figured that would be the rig to pull out anything we have that gets stuck...but if he gets stuck...I'm not sure that all of our trucks combined would do the trick...

The American Top Gear actually did a test on last weeks episode where the F150 EcoBoost beat the Tundra and Ram at pulling an airplane around an obstacle course...it was no space shuttle tho...and I'm certain it was rigged...
