Anyone have them installed and in use yet. Seems they are selling well. Only info I found was from the guy that won a set for his XRunner over on XRU.

Helped install a set on Lucario Runner's 4Runner. A guy on XRU, neb, recently installed a set on his 4x4.

They sound great. Better than the DTLTs, to me. Requires a little more work to install though.

I got a set for my truck. Quality is great! They are a pain to install though. I previously had the 1st gen DTLT's and granted they do sound different it wasn't worth the upgrade for me though. They did get rid of the rasp I had and made it a tad quieter which I'm happy about, but the tone of the exhaust is still the same. I only bought them because of the video Gadget posted of his truck with them and I was expecting them to sound just like that but don't.

If you don't currently have headers get them, but if you already do don't bother.

Is there any difference in how your engine performs with the URD's?

Honestly, I have no idea. I'm sure there is a difference with the bigger primaries now compared to my old ones, but I can't tell without going to the dyno. The increase wouldn't be enough to notice.

There was enough of a difference going from the stock exhaust manifold to a long tube header on my 2.7 to feel it. And when I ran it on the dyno, the torque peak was lowered by 650 rpm from 3,800 rpm down to 3,150 rpm. It makes sense that a change from one header to another would be smaller and wouldn't be enough to feel.

I am still running oem exhaust on my 2010. I have had brand new DTST headers and used oem cats waiting for time to get them installed.

Since we don't have emissions or inspections, these have my interest.

    Thanks for the input.

Yes, I do believe a increase would be enough to be felt.

And I don't want to hear,"well that truck is S/C'd so of course it would be noticed there."

Lucario Runner's N/A 1GR makes very similar overall power.

    That's really nice results. :)
Those torque curves are so consistently separated you can extrapolate that same improvement into the lower rpm range.

A question... is that chart indicating the difference between stock exhaust manifolds and the URD's... or was it between two different aftermarket headers?

Any idea if a 2012+ version is in the works? With our wonderful air pump junk.....

Maybe they will produce a 2012+ model...
LCE produces a 2012+ 4 cylinder long tube header which duplicates all of the stock air pump distribution outlets with a simple elegant design. Everything fits perfectly.
