Neither do sharks with freaking lasers attached to their heads swimming in the bed. Or even ill-tempered, mutated sea bass as a backup plan.

True. All this effort and a well-placed unicorn sticker may be all OP needs.

Anyone mentioned a tazer of some sort or a cattle prod?

Tazer mounted in an oversized mirror on the drivers side in case of car-jacking. Just sayin'....

Taurus slim 40. But mainly I just lock my doors and stay very vigilant and drive off at any sign of sketchiness.

Haha this is a funny thread!

I used to keep my Ruger LC9 in my center console but currently the lid is broken (thats why i logged on today for the repair thread) so i keep it in the glove box for now.

On top of that i have a collapsable baton in the driver door, 2 pocket knives on in each of the compartments to the let and right of the steering wheel, Mag Light in back door...oh yea and my built in guns attached to my arm sockets LOL jk

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Almost anything could be used as a weapon in self-defense: keys, flashlight, cords/ropes, dirt, rocks, sticks, hot coffee, pens etc.

That being said, I keep a variety of "tools" readily available within arm's reach from anywhere in my rig, depending on the situation.

    Knife/knives in the center console:

Maglight on the side of the driver's seat:

3' pry-bar behind the back seat:

XDm w/ chambered round and (2) 19 cap. Mags:

There are 5+ things in this picture that could protect myself or others:

Plus I have (3) more knives in my BOB, and a foldable saw, more rope, tools, tire iron, Jack handle and other random shit that could make someone have a bad day. Hope this gives you some ideas.

I don't leave it in there all the time. Plus, its locked and securely concealed when left unattended, or its on my person.

If I was scared about leaving shit in my truck, then I might as well not have anything in there at all. Why would I base my choice to keep things in my truck on the assumption or inevitability that it "might" get broken into? Sounds like you are a victim of the infectious "fear" that so many Americans have been force-fed.
