    I don't think your crazy. I did that very thing 8 years ago. I took the brand new 2005 Tacoma straight from the dealer to the shop and cut everything off. Front and rear. It was the first SAS on the new gen Tacomas.

    Have fun with yours. But I would stead clear of the leaf spring set up. Why go back to the horse and buggy days on a brand new truck. Just my 2 cents.

    Yeah. It's fun taking mine to the dealer and asking for an oil change. They just stare for half an hour.

    Did mine brand new. The first 2nd gen to be done.
