Hey all Im looking to install some JL Audio equipment.I'm 47 and back in my younger years I could only afford cheap stuff but now that I'm all grown up lol I can afford what I want :p
    My shopping list:
Im leaving the factory bluetooth radio.
    Amp : JL Audio XD700/5
    Front Doors: JL C5-650X
    Rear Doors: C2-650
    Audio Control LC7i
    JL Sub:CP108LG-W3v3

Looks like it will be a good setup! The only comment I have is on the Audio Control LC7i. I've heard that a lot of people with it have a quiet hiss with it. I'm not sure of a way to alleviate it other than replacing the stock head unit. I've heard of some people keeping the gains down on their amp and it helping a bit, but its still there. Once you start driving you probably won't notice it over the road noise and the music.

Just thought of something else right after I hit the Post button. You might consider getting an amplifier remote level control knob for your subwoofer like this one. I have one for my JL amp and I love being able to adjust the bass level of the sub.

I've never used the Clean Sweep or the LC6i. I only suggested the LC6i because I've heard more positive things about the LC6i. I haven't heard anything negative about the Clean Sweep, just fewer comments overall. I'm a big fan of JL so I'm sure the Clean Sweep is a very good product. You should research them both a lot before you get one installed.

    I'm running that amp and 2 8w3s.

I do have focal's all around though and I love them!
I'm 20 and cant even play the system close to full because its loud!
I went from a 12w1 to my 8s and love them. I don't know if your set on the 10" but that amp pushes two 8w3's perfect!

I Feel the cost was worth it, I say do it:cool:

oh and I have a kenwood deck

edit: didnt read the sub selection right. Why not two 8's? more range to play with :)

Nice set up. I am running Hertz in my door but JL amp and the JL sub. That JL sub is nuts. I love it. This is what the amp and sub look like in the truck

I had that 8" JL amp and sub in another vehicle and it rocked. Getting the same sub but 5 channel amp for the Taco. Nice pic of how it fits!
