Ha yeah. Oh my buddy has been installing his D2S retro on his FJ for the last couple days. As far as I could tell they were pretty much the same as my H1 kit. He's having a problem with his high beams not coming on when it's installed in the truck though. It actuates when he tests it out of the truck, but not in. So I don't have any comparison shots H1 vs. D2S yet.

Might want to research the options that work for the Relentless. I know for Elite, Budbuilts require some cutting.

Pretty much our only options are H1's and D2S's.

Relentless makes skids. They're a little more expensive total than BudBuilt, but I know they'll match up with the bumper.

I'm just buying the front skid first probably.

Offfff course ya do  haha

So I'm not really seeing a huge different between the H1 and D2S retrofit kits...

All I'm seeing is that the H1 has ceramic framed bases instead of the D2S's metal framed bases, different bulbs as well as shrouds

I don't care for how the shrouds mount on the D2s. They just clip in but don't feel that secure to me. The H1s are screwed in so they are not coming out.

Hmm... along with that point of the shrouds, Bella-- did you have to trim your housing for the D2S?

That's all I got from BudBuilt, was the front. I haven't done anything crazy enough yet to need much more.

I wonder if the Relentless will work with the Elite with no mod.

You will need a new build thread picture whenever you finish the bumper... If not, false advertising and the bumper comes to me
