    Saw a sad sight on my way home last night. Brandy-new Tundra Crew Cab Rock Warrior (still had the dealer plates, even) in a field, with all kinds of body panel and front end damage. He must have really been moving, because from the tracks he went over the ditch, over the stone wall behind it, and another 50 feet into the field after that. They already had the tow truck on site, and a cop directing traffic when I got there, so I got a chance to rubberneck at him. I bet the guy felt pretty sheepish. I certainly would if I'd put a brand new $35k truck of the road on a flat straight section of road in an inch of snow...

    On another note;
    I took the highway most of the way home and it was in pretty good shape; the travel lane was clean and the passing lane was fairly clear with no ice. Everybody was doing 45-50, but they were sticking to the driving lane. So I got out into the passing lane and was buzzing along at probably 60 or so, and some dink in a crappy old Buick had the nerve to beep at me when I went by.

    John a lot of shops burn old oil now for heat so maybe a local shop will take it for nothing

    Picking schools was stressful. Luckily I only applied to three, only got into three, only had three to pick from. It came down to cost, location, and airplanes.

    I'll have to swing by and ask. I used to bring it down to the police station,they had a recycle tub you just poured it in but they got rid of it last summer.

    Sounds good . Next time I'm down your way I'll swing by and drop it off .

    Yes, Autozone takes old oil, no charge. Ask a local garage if they take it though, the one at the end of my street takes it and burns it to keep their shop warm. They even gave me a discount for bringing it in once. They usually ask if it's clean first just to make sure there's no known contaminants.

    A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
    I've been creeping that thread. A few guys innovating, a few guys getting along, a few guys blowing their life savings on shit they don't need.

    Check with your town. Ours takes it for free if you're a resident.

    Over the cab bed-rack design for an RTT??? Tube, strong as hell, awesome??? Lemme see, I need one!
