Today's shipments arrived. Now I have in the storeroom, waiting for installation is a 2.5 gallon air tank, Viair 440C air compressor, and the jumper cable set that I will modify to work with the Anderson style max-plugin. Shipping information is currently predicting the Relentless Fab bumper should be here this Thursday! This truck will be going through a lot of changes this winter!

Sounds awesome Alex. The parts for the bumper arrived Saturday, but I haven't had the time to open the boxes yet.

Well now I am sitting on a bunch of parts, and no time to do anything! I won't complain because with owning a business, it is better to have too much work than not enough. I am doing TRIPLE the numbers I was doing this time last year. Hopefully I will have some time soon to get this project going again. Right now I have the following parts waiting for install:

DIY front bumper kit from Relentless Fab
    yellow top Optima
    red top Optima
    battery isolator
    2 farad capacitor
    fuse box
    winch
    air compressor
    air tank
50 feet of 2 gauge and 4 gauge battery cable (welder cable)

I keep getting parts, but never have the time...lmao.

I now have a factory replacement, direct fit alternator with high output. (140 Amps)
It swaps right over, without the need for ANY modifications, because it is a reconditioned factory alternator.

Well I was able to get to Stage 3 of the battery and electrical system upgrade. I am working on the thread specific for that, and will have it posted here. There are 5 stages I have in the plans. Stage 1-3 was replacing the primary battery, electrical power and ground cables, and a high output alternator. Stage 4 will be the isolator system and second battery. Stage 5 will be the jumper cable quick-connect with winch power cables.

I now have the Stage 5 system installed. Complete with Optima yellow top battery, and a battery isolator to keep the two batteries separated from drawing on the other.

And yeah, she needs a good bath. Sucks because I can wash her and every day I drive down the driveway she is dirty again. lol.

Actually it is sitting on the assembly bench finally. There was a slight variance in the DIY kit and I was waiting to get things sorted out with them before I started welding.

Hey Alex, you are in a unique position to help me out here. While you are there in Cherry Point, would you mind looking around at the surplus stuff that always seems to float around bases? I am looking for an old M416 trailer, or a 3/4 ton M1101. Have you seen anything like that around?

I appreciate it! I am wanting to buy one in the very near future. I would PREFER the M416. The M1101 would be a second choice.
